I'm only posting this because the band wasn't very clear on what happened and I'm sure a lot of you have some unanswered questions about the whole situation.
We hear that the reason why Chris left the band is because he was tired of touring and it was wearing him down. So don't worry, everyone is still close friends! And we can't confirm when and where, but fans attending an upcoming show may get a little more closure than the rest of us.

Chris Faller Quits The Hush Sound
Chris Faller, the bassist of Fueled By Ramen/Decaydance band The Hush Sound, has officially quit the band. On October 23rd, 2008 Bob Morris, the Guitarist and lead singer posted a Myspace blog about it, stating "Chris won't be with the band any longer... so if you don't see him on stage this time around, thats why. Don't worry, everything's fine, we're all still good friends. He wants to pursue and explore other areas of music, and will be getting his feet wet with recording bands in the Chicagoland area. He's a super talented musician, and we wish him the best. For now, our friend Mike will be picking up the bass torch. Say hi to him on this tour and make him feel welcome."
As far as we know, he made a clean split, and will not be touring or recording with The Hush Sound ever again.
The Hush Sound just came out with their third album, Goodbye Blues, in March this year. The music video for the second single for the album, Medicine Man, is set to be released on November 11th, 2008. Fans have only seen a glance of it from pictures on the band's Friends or Enemies, but it looks old fashioned, and involves a real medicine man.
Chris was a very talented bassist, and let's just hope The Hush Sound can carry on strong without him. We wish him the best.
