One night (June 21st /22nd, 2006 to be exact), we (Leah and Sera) were talking over AIM about how incredible the Hush Sound is like we always do when we realized this really amazing band did not have a fansite! Shocking, we know. That's why we spent that whooole night working on this idea (well, Leah had to go to bed at one point cause the sprinklers came on or something) and the next day, what started out as just an omglolzcool idea turned into a real website.
Since then we have done way more than we ever hoped for. Like becoming the official THS fan site (check us out on thehushsound.com), having stickers printed and handed out at THS shows, being mentioned on multiple live radio interviews with the band, getting Mr. Adam Moustachio to make/wear t-shirts with our url on it, getting that exclusive video from the Hush Band for their new song Honey (thanks Adam!), fan projects involving gifts for the band, an interview with the band recorded by the band with fan submitted questions, aaaaand other cool stuff like that. However, my proudest achievement will always be our forum. (Me= Sera. Hi.) It feels great to know that fans have a fun and safe place to talk about the band and hang out. Great friendships have come out of that (I'm talking to you, STDOTNET Krew) that put a smile on my face. But I'm not gonna lie, I cried when I saw that the band thanked us in the Goodbye Blues CD booklet. That simple little thing makes all of our hard work completely worth it. <3

Contribution: I run the site. This means I check our email/myspace/etc, stalk the internet for THS news, do the necessary updates, make sure everything is up and running, do random promo work here and there, talk to people, get things done, make sure everyone at our forum is happy, answer any questions fans might have, plan exclusive project for fans, bake cookiez, etc

Why The Hush Sound?: The Hush Sound make me happy, plain and simple. Not only do I have the amazing memories of meeting them and them being the awesomest people ever, but just hearing their music makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And, they love their fans. I’m so beyond happy and proud to be a part of all this and help them out.
